Listening Earth "Tropical Night" Thailand Audio Download

The album features night-time sounds from a tropical forest in the small hours before dawn. A chorus of crickets can be heard chirruping soothingly, and water drops, accumulating on leaf tips in the humid air, drip softly to the forest floor. Occasional geckos, owls, coucals, bats or frogs may be heard in the forest depths.

Premier nature sound recording label Listening Earth releases its new album for digital download, entitled "Tropical Night".

Castlemaine, Victoria, July 29, 2008 - Nature sounds recorded in Thailand feature in Listening Earth's latest album release: "Tropical Night".

This recording is part of Listening Earth's "Nature at Rest" series; a collection of nocturnal nature recordings designed to assist people in preparation for sleep.

Produced by nature recordist Andrew Skeoch, and with photography by Sarah Koschak, the album is ideal for relaxing listening, particularly in the evening.

Listening Earth's customers come from all over the world, and love the relaxing and beautiful albums that Andrew and Sarah create. One customer wrote: "Thanks very much for doing what you do. Every reminder we have of the beauty of the natural world is precious, because it offers an invitation to care for the environment, which in turn is an invitation to care for ourselves. That's a gift."

The album is available exclusively for digital download from Listening Earth's online shop:

Audio samples, photographs, and more information about this album, or any of Listening Earth's extensive catalogue of nature sound albums, can be found at the Listening Earth website: www.listeningearth.com.au

Andrew and Sarah began with an evocative range of Australian recordings, including the best-selling "A Morning in the Australian Bush". In more recent years they have been extending their work overseas, embarking on field expeditions to document the exotic nature of India, the Pacific Islands and South-east Asia. When not in the field, Andrew and Sarah live and work from their bush home/studio, which operates solely on solar power, in central Victoria
